In spite of many years growing up in the kind of soil that strangles faith, he joined our family and was eager to learn about God and the hope we have in Christ Jesus. Uprooted is a story that reminds us that good soil is necessary for the fruit of faith to grow, but this journey is messy and difficult. Kids need stories that don’t just portray good and evil, but show that grace and redemption are available when we do wrong. Parents need stories that encourage them alongside their kids and this story accomplishes both. The delightful illustrations capture the subtle changes in the main character throughout the story.
